Yes, the metropolitan region of Basel is considered a large urban area. It is one of the major urban centers in Switzerland and is located at the intersection of three countries - Switzerland, Germany, and France. The region is home to a significant population and is a hub for commerce, culture, and industry. With its extensive infrastructure, diverse economy, and vibrant cultural scene, Basel is definitely a large urban area. **

Kneeling and begging in a heavily crowded urban area may not be the most appropriate or safe way to ask for help or support. It could potentially be seen as disruptive or intrusive to others in the busy environment. It's important to consider alternative ways to seek assistance or support in such settings, such as reaching out to local organizations or services that can provide help in a more respectful and effective manner. **

The concept of a ghetto in an urban area typically refers to a neighborhood or area that is characterized by poverty, segregation, and a lack of resources or opportunities. Assessing a ghetto involves looking at factors such as income levels, access to quality education, healthcare, and employment opportunities, as well as levels of crime and social cohesion within the community. It is important to consider the historical and systemic factors that have contributed to the creation and perpetuation of ghettos, such as discriminatory housing policies, economic inequality, and social marginalization. Addressing the issues faced by ghettos requires a comprehensive approach that includes investment in education, job training, affordable housing, and community development initiatives. **

Life at home in East Germany was characterized by a strong sense of community and solidarity among neighbors and family members. The government played a significant role in people's daily lives, with strict regulations and surveillance. Access to goods and services was limited, and there was a lack of political freedom and freedom of expression. Despite these challenges, many people found ways to create a sense of normalcy and happiness in their homes through close relationships and shared experiences. **

I don't have personal experiences or preferences, but some people may prefer the cultural and historical richness of cities like Dresden and Leipzig in East Germany. Others may enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor activities available in areas like the Harz Mountains or the Spreewald region. Ultimately, the preference for one area over the other will depend on individual interests and priorities. **

The Ruhr area in Germany actually ends in the east at the border with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The eastern boundary of the Ruhr area is not precisely defined, but it is generally considered to extend to the city of Hamm and the surrounding area. This region marks the transition from the industrialized Ruhr area to the more rural and agricultural landscapes of eastern Germany. **

In the area of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), there are several urban legends and myths that have been passed down through generations. One well-known legend is the story of the White Lady of Burg Linn, a ghostly figure said to haunt the castle in Krefeld. Another popular urban legend is the tale of the "Hexenbürgermeister" (witch mayor) of Bedburg, who was said to have been executed for practicing witchcraft in the 16th century. Additionally, there are myths surrounding the mysterious "Brückengeist" (bridge ghost) of Cologne, who is said to appear on the Hohenzollern Bridge. These legends and myths contribute to the rich folklore and cultural heritage of NRW. **
